Devils Henchmen are a four-piece thrash crossover band from Liverpool, UK, formed in 2016. They quickly made a name in the local underground scene with their thrash-infused riffs on early releases. 2020’s 'Built By Hate' marked their most aggressive, riff-driven work yet, refining their signature thrash crossover sound.
After the challenges of 2020–21, the band’s sound evolved further. The addition of Dylan Ware (guitar/vocals) completed the current lineup and sparked the creation of their first full-length album. The result was 'The Deaf Choir', a self-recorded, self-produced statement of intent capturing the band’s musical journey to date. They debuted the album with a sold-out 200-capacity hometown show, delivering one of their most intense performances to date.
In 2023, Devils Henchmen made their first major festival appearance at Bloodstock Open Air, the UK’s largest independent metal festival. Their set at BOA 2023 became the band’s biggest show to date, packing out the New Blood Stage and delivering one of the weekend’s most electric crowd reactions. Ever Metal hailed it as “the best they’ve ever looked and sounded… They played with a confidence and maturity well beyond their years.” The performance also earned praise from festival organisers and crew, with ESP naming it one of the standout sets of the weekend and awarding the band a guitar in recognition.
Following Bloodstock, Devils Henchmen steadily built a dedicated following across the UK, supporting heavyweights such as D.R.I., Discharge, Cro-Mags, Evile, and The Professionals. In August 2024, the band released a 5-track covers EP, paying homage to artists who have shaped their sound in recent years.
2025 marked an exciting new chapter for the band. With the arrival of drummer Harry Walker, Devils Henchmen began performing more shows than ever. In August, they embarked on a UK/Ireland tour with Pentagram (Chile). Riding this momentum, the band is expanding internationally, with upcoming shows in Portugal, the Isle of Man, and Dubai, while preparing for an eight-date UK tour with The Troops of Doom. 2025 also sees the release of new music, with the single 'Urban Death' set for early October, followed by a second release to close out the year.
Looking ahead to 2026, Devils Henchmen are preparing for their biggest shows yet. A seven-date tour across Asia will kickstart the year, quickly followed by a five-date South America tour. With numerous tour plans and international festival appearances already in the works, 2026 promises to be the band’s biggest year yet, including the release of their highly anticipated second full-length album.
