Devils Henchmen are a 4-piece metal band from Liverpool, UK. Formed by schoolmates Joseph Doolan (Guitar/vocals) and Danny Adkins (Bass) in 2016, quickly making a name for themselves on the Liverpool underground for their thrash-tinged metal riffs, put to tape on the “Hatred” EP that year.

Following the release of a second EP, “Control” the following year, the band experienced a dramatic lineup change, with Danny moving to drums, and Elliott Kyriakides joining on bass. This lineup clicked immediately, and over the next few years, the band went from strength to strength, breaking out of Liverpool, playing shows across the north and midlands, writing faster, harsher new material, culminating in the release of “Built By Hate” in 2020, the band’s most aggressive, riff-laden work yet.

Following the events of 2020 and 2021, the band found themselves shifting sonically and seeking a new member. With the addition of Dylan Ware (Guitar/vocals) in 2021, the now four-piece band has been getting tighter, catchier and heavier with every new song written, and are looking to put these new tunes to tape in 2023 in the form of a full-length studio album.

In 2023, the band entered Merseyside's Metal 2 The Masses for a chance to play Bloodstock Open Air, the UK’s biggest independent metal festival. Competing against some of the most talented and exciting bands in the Liverpool scene, the band managed to overcome the difficult competition and win. BOA 2023 has been the band’s biggest show to date and was a resounding success, seeing them play to a packed out New Blood stage with some of the best crowd engagement of the weekend, Ever Metal described the set as follows,

“Simply, this was the best they’ve ever looked and sounded… they played with a confidence and maturity well beyond their years”. The set received a positive reception from the festival organizers and crew alike, with the band being highlighted by ESP for one of the best performances of the weekend, receiving a guitar from the ESP representatives.

In the months following this, the band released their debut album “THE DEAF CHOIR”, a self-recorded, self-produced statement, which sums up the band’s stylistic evolution to date. To debut the album, the band played a sold-out 200-capacity hometown show, one of the most intense and active gigs the band has played to date, alongside other local mainstays from the scene.
